About us

We’re a married couple living in Dartford, Kent. We’ve both been playing our respective instruments for years and studied music together at uni. Over the years we have both had a number of new and exciting musical experiences; we’ve been in bands, played in pitch black restaurants, played on the London Eye and taken our music overseas to Ireland and Cyprus. We’ve taught our craft and we’ve driven each other to the edge of insanity by singing made-up lyrics to popular songs when the other person is trying to work!

It is this meandering experience that we bring to our comedy songs. We’ve covered topics as diverse as scrabble, insurance eligibility and vaginal thrush, and have always got an ear cocked for the next off-beat observation!

Please have a trawl through the links on our website for examples of our comedy music.

Andy - Guitar Player

I’m a rock guitarist originally, but I started playing classical when I was fifteen. These days I play in a sort of hybrid-style; moving back and forth between classical and Spanish fingerpicking techniques, strumming in pop mode, chugging rock riffs and, occasionally, just attacking the guitar in a way that would make my old teacher’s toes curl!

Rosie - Flute Player, Vocals

My musical roots are definitely classical- as are most flautists! I’ve enjoyed various musical forays into free improvisation, folk rock, popular music and, of course, comedy songs. I’ve been playing the flute since I was seven, but singing has been a much more recent venture.

Following unexpected surgery, I found myself having to take a year out of university and, with the absence of college concerts, my only performance experience was karaoke. Once I’d recovered I found myself forced to spend at least one night a week clutching not just a shot-glass or two, but also a microphone at one of my locals. As a musician well-used to breath control and breathing exercises, I adapted quickly and really started to enjoy singing!
